Bring your driver's license, the vehicle title, a lien release if applicable, a vehicle inspection and proof of insurance.
How long do new Maryland residents have to register?
You must register within 60 days of moving to Maryland. Delaying may result in loss of tax credit and a citation.
What if my title is held by a lienholder?
Provide your lienholder's fax number. We'll request the title on your behalf and contact you once it is received.
What should I do with my plates after moving out of Maryland?
Return the plates to the MVA before canceling your insurance to avoid a compulsory insurance violation.
Do you offer notary service?
